Larry Hoovers top enforcers

In the year 1968, “King Rusty,” “100 Street Sam,” and Ulysses “U-S” Floyd were the Supreme Gangsters that formed the Outlaw Supreme Gangsters in the “Wild 100s” which was mainly in Roseland but would stretch through much of the deeper south side into neighborhoods like Calumet Heights, Chatham, and Washington Heights, basically they took over the 95th Street corridor and spread north and south from there. This is the origin of how Chicago had Gangster Disciples in the Wild 100s (deep south side). These men were pioneers and made lots of money in the process and were personally blessed by Larry Hoover. These Supreme Outlaw founders made lots of money and wrestled the drug trade away from small time drug dealers, pimps and Black P Stones in the Wild 100s.

The founders of the Wild 100s Supremes were killers and some of biggest gangsters one can imagine. King Rusty was especially noticed by Larry Hoover and appointed one of Larry Hoover’s main body guards along with “Hickey Nut” and “Angel.”

The Black Gangster Lynchmen

In the year 1969, the Black Gangster Disciples Nation was formed when Larry Hoover and David Barksdale decided to united the Supreme Gangster nations and the Black Disciple nations into a strong unity that would become a brotherhood. In the year 1971, King Rusty, Hickey Nut and Angel all had a falling out with the Disciples and could no longer get along with them. I don’t know what happened to cause this friction but these three men told Larry Hoover they couldn’t tolerate Disciples anymore and this meant these men personally could not honor the BGDN but wanted to continue complete loyalty to Larry Hoover and the Gangster nation. In order for this arrangement to work out without complete bloodshed King Rusty and his group agreed to move off the 95th Street area into the Morgan Park neighborhood in 1971.

Morgan Park was a racially changing neighborhood in 1971 converting from mostly white to mostly African American. Black Gangster Disciples were freshly settling that community and were even living in the Racine Courts public housing project which was at Racine Avenue to Aberdeen Street from 108th Place to 110th Street. Racial conflicts originally brought the BGDs to Morgan Park but within a short time later the conflict was with Black P Stones on the far east side of Morgan Park.

King Rusty, Hickey Nut and Angel created the “Black Gangster Lynchmen” in 1971 and they were posted in the Racine Courts buildings but Black Gangster Disciples mainly dominated these buildings and these BGDs were connected to the Black Gangster Disciples of The Jungle which was an area just west of Interstate 57. Lynchmen lived among the BGDs in peace and LSGs did business with BGDs. Going by the title “Black Gangster Lynchmen.” the Black Gangster Lynchmen name showed allegiance to Larry Hoover’s Gangsters and the LSGs remained under the Gangster alliance which partially meant they were tied to BGDs except that the LSG were not friendly toward Disciples but at the time Morgan Park had no Black Disciples. The Lynchmen of the 70s and 80s were all about business and did not have young kids in the neighborhood claiming to be LSGs. LSGs did not recruit any youths, they were an exclusively adult group that consisted of some elite killers and drug dealers.

War with The Jungle

In the year 1985, Larry Hoover declared that the Black Gangster Disciples blue print was no longer valid and that Black Gangster Disciples could now choose to become “Gangster Disciples” or “Black Disciples.” This meant that being a Gangster Disciples meant honoring both Gangster and Disciple concepts even though they had just separated from the Black Disciples. Since the LSGs were part of the Gangsters they would now need to honor Disciple concepts but the LSGs rejected this and refused to adapt. The LSGs were brought into the Folks alliance previously and now that is the only alliance they would follow. The GDs in The Jungle were the most infuriated over the LSGs refusing Disciples concepts and war started between LSGs and the GDs from The Jungle. When a group of the BGDs chose Black Disciples the LSGs went on the attack against them, this meant war with the entire Jungle area had begun for LSG.

The GDs from Racine Courts are known as “RCG” or “Racine Courts Gangsters” and as soon as LSGs began to feud with The Jungle the RCGs told the Lynchmen that they needed to leave Racine Courts immediately to keep war from the Jungle away from RCG turf. The LSGs never took over any part of Racine Courts likely because they were more like a mafia that was focused on business. LSGs did not want to listen to the RCGs but they were heavily outnumbered and all the Jungle GDs and BDs were willing to come to the aide of the RCGs to make it even worse for the LSGs so in 1985 the LSGs left Racine Courts.

Now that LSGs were a war with BDs and The Jungle area GDs, the LSGs dropped the “Black” from their name to no longer show solidarity with the Gangsters or GDs. The “Gangster” part of the name was now moved to the end of their name which was previously not allowed under BGDN because the “B” and the “G” go before the rest of your club name.

Masters of the parks

When LSGs left Racine Courts they split into four new sections, two of which were in Morgan Park. LSGs began congregating at 114th & Loomis and soon these LSGs took over between 111th to 115th and Hamlet to Morgan making LSGs the gang that took over Ada Park.

LSGs began congregating at 109th & Loomis in Lamb (Harold) Park (New Park) in 1985 and within no time these LSGs had 107th to 111th, Hamlet/Bishop to Morgan, these LSGs became the “New Park LOCs.”

In 1985, LSGs from Racine Courts advanced into the Washington Heights neighborhood landing at 106th & Loomis in Beverly Ridge Park forming the “Ridge Park LOCs.” These LSGs would take over from 105th to 107th and from Glenroy Avenue to Loomis.

After leaving Racine Courts in 1985, LSGs moved into West Pullman at Cooper Park. These Lynchmen would call themselves “Cooper Park LOCs.” These Lynchmen took over from 115th the 119th and from Ashland to Racine.

In the year 1994, Ada Park Lynchmen had a falling out with New Park Lynchmen that were just north of the Ada Park guys. The Ada Park Lynchmen began associating with The Jungle Black Disciples because of this internal conflict. In the year 1995, the Ada Park LSGs flipped to “Brain Dead” Black Disciples and Ada Park LSGs were no more.

The Beverly Ridge Park area underwent a major makeover since the 2000s as old buildings and homes were removed and new housing was built. Older members of the Ridge Park Lynchmen were able to stay in the area but they lost connection with a younger generation; therefore, Ridge Park is not as active as it once was.

Lynchmen presently

At some point in time long ago King Rusty and Angel were killed in the streets. Hickey Nut went to prison decades ago and is still in prison.

LSGs remain active in Cooper Park and in Lamb Park and some activity remains in Beverly Ridge Park.
